I experiment with a variety of mediums including pen and ink, printmaking and painting to explore themes of motherhood and everyday life, with an element of humour; often using cartoons to document my experiences as a single parent on social media, without the common pretense of flawlessness.

Please give some details about your experience as a technician (eg exhibitions where you have supported or overseen installation; training you have received; galleries and/or other venues you've worked in).

While in my final year studying Fine Art and Illustration at Coventry University I worked as part of a team preparing space, installing and deinstalling our Degree Show exhibition "Carbonated" (2019). Since 2020 I have worked at Coventry Artspace co-ordinating spaces, a role which includes being responsible for the everyday maintenance of a gallery space; in which I have overseen and supported with many visual art exhibition installations. In 2022 I participated in the Art Tech Boot Camp delivered by Coventry University and ArtTechSpace; this includes a work experience placement at The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in January/February 2023.

We recommend a minimum standard rate of £18/hr for experienced technicians or £120/day (7hrs). Please indicate your standard rate if it is higher than this:
