Josh Edgington
Artist
With work featured in public and private collections, including New Art Gallery Walsall, Edgington deals with the personal, memory, trauma and adversities. Often, if not indirectly, the works are informed by the artist’s own struggle with mental illness, working with themes of memory and trauma. Opting to work across a range of illustration, painting, drawing and textiles due to the plethora of opportunities within the mediums and techniques as well as a given sense of the personal, Edgington’s aim is to keep spontaneity, intrigue, sensitivity and a child like quality present in all works.
