I’m an eclectic artist and I derive my work from my lived experiences through trauma and happier times that became part of me. I currently work with materials that people discard and feel can’t be loved again to give them a new lease of life by creating costumed sculptures. All the materials I use are recycled and I often get my materials from Crow Recycling in Coventry including charity shops. Everything I create has a message or meaning behind it. I can pick up an item and can work around it visualising it from the very start and I think that’s why I also work as a production assistant, workshop facilitator and sometimes a photographer. I picked up a camera at a very young age and had a passion to tell a story and that comes out in all I do. So photography is part of my artistic practice as is music, illustration, spoken word, drawing, painting and acting.
