Anne Forgan

Consultant Artist Sculpture Digital Installation Craft Social Engagement Textile Curator

Anne Forgan explores the power and madeness of things. She works with everyday materials and reconfigures them. She is drawn to textiles and makes sculptural works that are odd, sinister but vaguely familiar. Part totems, part transitional objects, Anne makes things that attempt to soften and explain. Anne also creates 2D works and in particular, banners, flags and wearable objects to celebrate and subvert. When not absorbed in making stuff, Anne works with people; as a socially engaged artist, freelance producer and Co-Artistic Director of Ludic Rooms - an arts and technology company.
